Picking a bottle of perfume online means trusting a listing you cannot smell. So we read the listings closely, and found that several of the five perfumes below disagree with themselves. One lists 100 ml in the title and 30.12 ml in the size field. One never says whether it is an eau de toilette or an eau de parfum.

We compared the best perfume for men in India that sells new, in 100 ml, on Amazon India between Rs448 and Rs2,925. We looked at rating and review depth, who sells each bottle, the scent notes the listing states, and every place a listing contradicts itself. Four of the five state Eau de Parfum. All prices are as at the time of writing (checked 7 October 2026) and they move.

We did not smell or test any bottle. Longevity and projection claims below are what each listing says, not what we measured. Where a claim cannot be checked, we say so.

How We Picked These

This list is for a man buying one 100 ml bottle for daily wear, on a budget that runs from under Rs500 to just under Rs3,000. We kept only perfume sprays from established brands with a traceable maker. Gift sets, body sprays, deodorants and attars were out, and so were white-label and unknown brands. We took one product per brand, and no two picks share a maker.

The prices have a gap in the middle: Rs448, Rs900, Rs2,499, Rs2,795 and Rs2,925. Nothing from an established brand sat between Rs900 and Rs2,200 with a deep review pool. The only candidates were the Police Gentleman at Rs1,600 on 453 ratings and the 50 ml Skinn Raw at Rs1,545 on 220 ratings. Both pools were too thin to rank against the others, so the list jumps from Rs900 to Rs2,499.

Every rating on this list belongs to a parent listing, which can pool several sizes or scents together. We attribute each rating to the product family, not to one bottle. We also did not read any buyer reviews, so nothing here reports what owners say about how a scent smells.

5. Bella Vita Luxury CEO Man EDP 100 ml

The cheapest bottle here, at Rs448 or Rs4.48 per ml. It carries 4.1 stars on about 18,800 ratings, the second deepest pool on the list. The listing states Eau de Parfum and 100 ml.

It ranks last for one reason: the listing does not agree with itself. The title lists lemon, lavender, tonka, mandarin and vetiver. The bullets give a full pyramid instead, with blackcurrant, bergamot, apples and pineapple on top, rose, birch, jasmine and patchouli in the middle, and musk, oakmoss and vanilla at the base. The two lists share almost nothing. We quote the bullets below, and you should treat the notes as unsettled.

The maker lines also differ. The Manufacturer field names Stella Industries Limited, the Packer field names IDAM Natural Wellness, and the Importer field is a phone number. The main seller is IDAM Natural Wellness, fulfilled by Amazon. The title says Long Lasting, which is a listing claim, not a tested result.

A step up in price at Rs900, or Rs9.00 per ml. Ajmal is a Dubai house, and the listing names a Mumbai importer, Belleza Enterprises. It is sold by Ajmal & Sons, the brand's own Amazon store, fulfilled by Amazon. It was the only offer returned.

The rating is 4.0 on about 2,500 ratings, the lowest on the list and the smallest pool. That is why it sits fourth, not third. The listing states Eau de Parfum and a Citrus, Fruity and Woody family. The bullets give the notes: violet leaves, plum and blackcurrant first, then rose, iris and jasmine, then sandalwood, musk, tonka and cedarwood.

One conflict to know about. The Manufacturer field names Helios Packaging Pvt. Ltd. and the Country of Origin reads India, while the Packer field names Ajmal's Dubai company. We describe it as a Dubai-based house with an Indian importer, which is what the listing supports. The listing says the Eau de Parfum gives "enhanced fragrance retention". That is a claim, not a measurement.

Skinn is the fragrance brand attached to Titan, and the Raw is listed as an Eau de Parfum in a Fresh, Woody, Spicy family. It holds 4.3 stars on about 3,200 ratings. That is the third highest rating on the list, and it earns third place.

The notes are laid out in full. The top is bergamot, watery fruits and mandarin. The middle is violet leaves, pomarose, carnation and geranium. The base is Indonesian patchouli, cashmeran and gaiac wood. The title says Long Lasting Smell, which is a listing claim.

The seller is the reason it is not higher. The main offer is from e-STORES, a third party, not a Titan-named store. It is fulfilled by Amazon, and Stonehenge Retail also lists it at Rs2,795 and Rs2,845. We could not confirm that e-STORES is an authorised Titan reseller, so we make no authenticity claim. It ranks second, not first, because the listing leaves out the one fact a buyer needs. The title reads "Spray for Men, 100ml". It never says Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum, and the Generic Name field reads "deodorant". We do not label it either. Check the box or the brand's own page for the concentration. The listing makes no longevity claim, so we make none.

The supply chain carries three names. The Importer and Packer are both Maruti Enterprises, and the main seller is Primespot Retail Private Limited, fulfilled by Amazon. The top pick. It has the highest rating on the list, 4.6 stars on about 7,000 ratings, and it is sold by Lattafa India, the brand's own Amazon store, fulfilled by Amazon. It was the only offer returned. The title states Eau de Parfum and a Spicy, Woody, Musky profile with oud and musk.

The bullets describe warm spices, deep woods, creamy vanilla and musk, with no note pyramid. The listing says it is built for a strong, long-lasting scent and an all-day aroma. Those are the seller's claims, and we have not tested them. Lattafa is a Dubai house, and the Manufacturer field names Lattafa Perfumes Industries LLC, U.A.E.

Read the listing before you buy, because it has a size conflict. The title says 100 ml, the Net Quantity field reads 30.12 ml, and the Generic Name says 3.4 ounce, which is about 100 ml. We treat 100 ml as the listed size, and you should confirm it on the live page. The title also ends "(Asad Bourbon)", and the 7,000 ratings are a parent-level pool that may include other Asad scents. What to Look for in the Best Perfume for Men

Six checks matter when you buy perfume you cannot sniff first.

Concentration, as listed. Four of these five say Eau de Parfum in the title. The Drakkar Noir listing says neither Eau de Toilette nor Eau de Parfum, and its Generic Name reads "deodorant". When a listing omits the concentration, find it on the box or the brand's own site before you pay.

Family labels are the seller's shorthand. The listings here use Citrus, Fruity and Woody (Ajmal), Fresh, Woody, Spicy (Skinn), Spicy, Woody, Musky (Lattafa) and aromatic fougère (Drakkar Noir). Bella Vita states no family. Each is a short label from the seller, and no two use the same words. Read the note lists instead, which tell you what the bottle contains.

Notes, and whether the listing agrees with itself. Skinn and Ajmal give a full pyramid, and Drakkar Noir gives only its top notes. Bella Vita's title and bullets list different notes. Lattafa gives no pyramid at all.

Longevity is a claim, not a spec. None of these listings gives a tested number of hours. Lattafa, Ajmal, Skinn and Bella Vita each say long lasting in some form. Drakkar Noir makes no such claim. The best long lasting perfume for men is hard to name from a listing, so treat any promised hours as marketing. Spray a bottle on your skin before you commit to wearing it daily.
